CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

In terms of JavaScript frameworks Angular is definitely one of the most popular and widely used. When it comes to designing single page applications (SPAs) developers usually prefer frameworks that have:

  • already been used to build scalable applications
  • a vast community support in case you get stuck somewhere
  • code decoupled enough not to interfere, but modular enough to easily maintain
  • AngularJS has pretty good features like Two way data binding, Dependency Injection, Directives etc.
  • Support of Google and community is growing very fast.
  • First choice for data driven enterprise applications.

Web is evolving, Single Page Applications are the future and it will pay off if you are ready to contribute to it. Angular is already being used in a lot of ongoing developments and will be used in the upcoming ones . AngularJS has been warmly accepted by the industry and big companies like TechM, Accenture, Capgemini, CTS etc are hiring people having same kind of skill set. Because of shortage of skilled professional there is a huge demand in the market and professionals are getting payed more than industry standard.

FAQ

If you have any question about the course then you can find it here.

I know a number of different front end frameworks and libraries and each one makes me a better developer. From ReactJS to VueJs to Angular; there is no shortage of options. Each is a tool that belongs in a developers tool belt. One might be exciting for you or challenging depending on your skill level/background but all will provide new insights into how the front end is handled. Surprisingly a lot of these technologies are starting to follow a similar structure to their design and implementation. A few years ago that was not the case but slowly as with all technologies a set of practices seem to be emerging that are becoming the standard. Concepts like component based architecture and state management are common throughout each technology base. Having taught and worked on various projects at Coding Dojo over the years, I gotta say that once you get the foundation down of one of these, you will be great with any of these libraries/frameworks.
Angular is a platform that makes it easy to build SPAs (Single Page Applications )with the web. Angular combines declarative templates, dependency injection, end to end tooling, and integrated best practices to solve development challenges. Angular empowers developers to build applications that live on the web, mobile, or the desktop. Besides, Angular is one of the key members of the MEAN stack technology, which is trending now days. So, if you are looking for a framework to build Single Page Applications, well, AngularJS used to be the best option in the market. But now with evolution of time we have better versions of Angular to get our hands on. So, coming back to the question, if you are planning to learn building SPAs you should definitely go for Angular2+ versions which are termed as ANGULAR(latest is v6) .
Unlike most of the answers, I would like to say Angular JS is an easy framework. I believe the popularity of Angular framework owes a lot to its easiness. We had frameworks like Knockout and Backbone which were tedious to learn, hard to handle and still do not provide a concrete project structure. Angular on the other side is well structured framweork and it caters to almost every web development need. Thanks to a vast community support. Coming to it being easy and difficult. I personally consider, if you have good knowledge of JavaScript, Css and Html, Angular is easy to learn. Infact it is a syntactical sugar on top of various javascript and html concept. I have seen many developers ( my collegues) finding Angular difficult and the only reason is the lack of a proper start. Angular is so powerful and popular that you will find thousands of web post around one topic which creates confusion. The better way is either to stick to a single video series or to start with official documentation until you are prepared for advanced concepts. On a sidenote : Angular JS is rather less demand in market now, given a more powerful Angular 2 (and even Angular4) is now available. I strongly suggest any new developer to go for Angular 2 now instead of Angular Js. The good thing is you do not need any background knowledge of Angular JS to learn the all new Angular.
By AngularJS, I assume you mean Angular 1.0 (not the official name but convenient for purposes of distinguishing them). Ive worked on projects using both. The answer would depend on why you want to learn Angular. If you want to learn Angular because you are interested in jobs for Angular developers, then learning AngularJS may be a good choice. Most development agencies and businesses have yet to make the switch to Angular 4, because they have existing software developed in AngularJS and there isnt a compelling reason to port everything over to the new version of Angular, which requires retraining their development teams in Angular 4 and then refactoring a lot of their code. So learning AngularJS would be a reasonable choice that may give you an advantage in seeking these jobs. If, however, you are starting a new, greenfield project that will be using Angular, I would strongly recommend learning Angular 4. The whole reason that Angular 2 (and then 4) were developed was to fix problems with the original AngularJS. Those problems are not deal-breakers for many implementations, but they were substantial enough to promote a complete overhaul of the framework. The command-line tools for Angular 2/4 are greatly improved over that of AngularJS and make it much easier to set up a new project quickly. There is no good reason I can think of today for starting a new Angular project using AngularJS. I picked it up in about a day and a half, using the tutorial on the Angular 4 website here. It is very good at laying out the concepts. If you decide you need to learn AngularJS, you can do so here. I should add that it is probably not terribly onerous to learn both at least to the degree of understanding the fundamentals, then pick one to focus on.
Well there is no path breaking change that means Angular 4 is not a complete rewrite of Angular 2 . Google has adapted SEMVER (Semantic versioning) approach for its Angular Framework. Why not Angular 3? Due to misalignment of router package version . As @angular/router was using v3.3 already , so they switch to Angular 4 Finally . What has Changed? Angular team has laid emphasis on making angular apps more faster, compact . Under the Hood Changes New changes reduce the size of the generated code for your components by around 60% in most cases. The more complex your templates are, the higher the savings. Faster Compilation Better Bug fixes Alert. Some changes in Imports/Syntax Animations being pulled out of @angular/core so as to remove the extra code being imported into our production bundle .Though you can easliy add animation by importing {BrowserAnimationsModule} from @angular/platform-browser/animations into NgModule. Renderer 2 in place of Renderer from same @angular/core. *ngIf/else : Now you can use else clause as well .
AngularJS is a structural framework for dynamic web apps. AngularJS's data binding and dependency injection eliminate much of the code you would otherwise have to write. Want to learn Angularjs Online Training . My experience after working on all mentioned versions of Angular , i would say go for Angular 2 . Angular 4 is same as Angular 2 but with few added features. So if you are going for Angular 2 then you will find almost no difficulties while learning Angular 4 . Angular 1 or just Angular was not meant for mobile but angular 2/4 was. Angular 2 is much faster than angular 1 but at starting difficult to setup. May be i am just favouring Angular 2 over angular , but it totally depends on you which you want to prefer . Both have their pros and cons. Why GangBoard ? 1.GangBoard offers easy to download course files of short duration. 2.The course structure is a peeled up fruit that is very well easy to digest! 3.The video presentation and voice recordings are carefully made to make the learners experience enjoyable and get tempted to register for an another course with GangBoard.
To develop applications in Angular you need to code using JavaScript, which makes JavaScript the minimal pre-requisite for learning Angular. What this means is that you cannot learn Angular with 'Zero JS'. That said, you don't need to be an a expert JS developer. A short detour to familiarize yourself would suffice to get started. While you get yourself familiar with JavaScipt, here is an introduction to Angular where I did my best to focus less on the scripting aspects and more on core concepts. You only need to be familiar with the concepts of MVC and a bit of Dependency Injection to grasp what have I said here. I am hoping that once you read this introduction you will be motivated to go learn enough JavaScript to get started with developing application in Angular. At the outset, here is how your journey to code your cool ideas in Angular might look like.
